Petani Beach

Petani Beach, on Kefalonia’s Paliki peninsula, is a stunning crescent of white sand and pebbles framed by imposing limestone cliffs and azure Ionian waters. Located about 13 km from Lixouri, it spans roughly 600 m and is recognized with a Blue Flag. A serpentine descent reveals its beauty—crystal-clear, deep waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Two tavernas at the shore provide local cuisine, though parking fills quickly in summer. While sections are developed with sunbeds and umbrellas, quieter, wild coves lie nearby for peaceful moments. The beach is celebrated for its breath taking sunsets that ignite the cliffs and sea in vibrant hues.
